Jump Over Things Day

Are you late for work and you see a pair of dirty socks on the ground? Do you pick them up? NO! Jump over them! Are you in a race and there is a big puddle of mud in front of you? Do you plow through it? NO! You jump over them! Today is all about the joy of jumping over stuff!

Blossom is the pro between my two with jumping over stuff. Sure, Reeses can jump, but he really shouldn't. Reese had surgery on his knees a few years back, so it really isn't the best to get him jumping a lot. Blossom on the other hand went through agility training as a puppy. I don't know who had more fun, her or I. We learned how to do the weave polls, the A frame, go across a long narrow plank above the ground, and of course - jump over poles! Blossom was pretty good at it -better than I was anyways. Even though I wasn't jumping over the obstacles, we still had to run with our dog so that we could direct them in which obstacle to go to next. It is much more difficult than what the professionals make it seem like on tv!
