Decorating with Candy is not all that it seems to be. First off, if you glue the candy, start with the bigger pieces of candy before gluing the powdery (pixie stick) candy. If you glue the powdery candy first, then the big candy just falls off every time you go to glue them. Also, like with most things made out of food, you don't want to get it wet, and it doesn't last that long. If it does last, I'm sure that it would attract all sorts of bugs/critters.
Besides all of the negative of decorating with candy, it does make a fun family activity! And there is so many different candy's that you could make virtually anything more bright!
So have fun! And go decorate with candy!
