World Marriage Day

Today is a day all about celebrating marriage! Celebrating your current marriage, upcoming marriage, or for those of us who are not married or engaged, just dreaming about your wedding day.

I have always dreamed of having a big traditional wedding with a giant dance floor at the reception hall. Getting photos taken and enjoying the big day with friends and family. But there are so many different kinds of weddings and it is fun to imagine some of the things people could do or have done.

Some such weddings that have been done:

- Star wars

- Zombie

- Elvis

- Ceremony in McDonalds

- On bikes

- At a water park

- At a rollerskating rink (while wearing skates)

Most important thing about this holiday is celebrating the joining of two people, in sickness and in health. As long as they both shall live!
