Genealogy Day

Ever wonder who your ancestors where? Well today is the day to find out! Have fun looking up your history and you might even learn something about yourself!

My Aunt is a retired teacher, and she is very big into genealogy. She has names of over 1000 people on her computer of people related to us. She has found out that we are both Irish and German.We are also related to Thomas Rogers who came over from Britain on the Mayflower (in which she was super excited about!). She also found out that her husband is her 19th cousin 10 times removed (or something like that. . . ) I don't know nearly as much about my dads side, other than we are both Irish and German on that side as well. And there is a street in Texas that was named after one of our relatives.

It is not necessarily an easy task finding out about your history, but it sure is interesting!
