Pancake Day

Pancakes! There are so many different ways to make pancakes and to eat them! When I was a kid, my favorite thing was when I was served either pancakes that looked like Mickey Mouse, or if they had chocolate chips or M&M's in them. If they had both than it was spectacular!

So lets learn more about the pancake:

- The first ever pancake recipe was found in an English cookbook around the 15th century.

- Freshly fallen snow had been used as a secret ingredient in pancakes since baking soda had not yet been invented.

- There is a sport dedicated to pancakes; Pancake Tossing.

- The largest pancake in the world was cooked in Manchester and measured 15 meters in diameter and weighed 3 tons!
